That’s a trick question because it’s never one person behind a brand, but a team of people that helped shape and develop it.

In our case, Jesse Walia, is flying the spaceship here at Universe Media. He comes from a background of filmmaking through studying in Brooklyn College as well as real world practical experience on sets for shows and films. Jesse takes pride in being a first generation Indian American, representing for Sikhs, and likes to showcase that in his work when given the opportunity.

“My vision has always been to produce and direct films and pieces of art that I cared about and wanted to see make a difference in people’s lives. My love for filmmaking started when I was 11 years old when my friends and I would create short stories with an old Sony handycam and edit it together on Windows movie maker (if you know you know). The rest is history!”
